Hobart’s new apartment complex aims to make downtown more walkable

HOBART, Wis. (WFRV) – A new mixed-use apartment complex is hoping to make downtown Hobart more walkable.

Bayland Buildings recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of its new complex, the ‘Larsen Orchard Terrace.’ The new complex is located in the Hobart Centennial Business Park and has 66 apartment units and four commercial tenant spaces.

This is definitely a residential neighborhood so we wanted to bring a commercial aspect to the residential aspect. So this mixed-use building kinda fills this need. It definitely makes it walkable so the commercial spaces are really set up to be nice outdoor spaces for restaurants and things like that and we hope to see some of that soon.
