MONONA, Wis. — Three Monona Grove High School students showed off their leadership skills at a Model United Nations conference in Toronto earlier this month, and brought home awards to show for it.
Elsa Beuthling, Amelia Klapperich and Riley Miller represented their school at the Harvard Model United Nations Tournament of Champions, comepting against Model UN programs from around the world.
In Model UN, competitors are assigned a country, historical figure or organization to roleplay as in different scenarios such as debates or parliamentary procedures.
