Minnesota drivers did exactly what you’re not supposed to do during severe weather

Never. Stop. Under. An. Overpass. During. A. Thunderstorm.

Minnesotans should know better, but apparently not the motorists who decided to stop the flow of traffic and protect their vehicles from hail as storms moved through the Twin Cities on Friday evening.

In fact, drivers made an equally poor decision when they stopped under an overpass on Interstate 35 during a tornado warning around Rush City just a little bit earlier in the evening…
