A Colorado man is expected to face serious criminal charges after police say he drove through a red light while intoxicated, struck three women in a crosswalk, and dragged one victim underneath his vehicle for nearly half a block before stopping in traffic.
According to investigators, 56-year-old Cesario Serrato is expected to face charges including vehicular assault and driving under the influence (DUI) in connection with the crash that occurred in downtown Denver early Sunday morning.
The collision happened as bars in the area were closing for the night and pedestrians were making their way through the busy entertainment district.
