Photos: Hundreds celebrate Juneteenth at ‘Freedom Day’ event in Albany

ALBANY — Hundreds of people attended the annual Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration in Albany’s Swinburne Park on Friday.

The event, sponsored by the Black Chamber of Commerce and the Albany Community Land Trust’s Gun Violence Prevention Program, was one of many slated for Albany and surrounding areas. It included live entertainment, vendors, food, cultural exhibits and family activities.
