‘Worth it’: MetroHealth’s new outpatient center is finally opening after delays, cost overruns

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three years late and $84 million over its original cost, MetroHealth System’s Outpatient Health Center is finally ready for its debut, bringing a wide range of clinical services under one roof.

Initially planned to combine medical and administrative facilities when construction began in 2021, the five-floor building’s focus shifted partway through the project, necessitating a redesign focused exclusively on outpatient needs.
