FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Construction is set to begin later this year on an indoor aquatic center in Foley.

According to a City of Foley news release, the center will be located in Max Griffin Park near the outdoor pool and will be open year-round.
Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich said this new center will allow local swim teams to practice even when weather conditions aren’t the best.
