PBR Bulls & Beats Brings Bull Riding, Rodeo, and Country Music to Colorado State University This July

Professional Bull Riders is raising the bar for Western sports entertainment with the debut of PBR Bulls & Beats. This three-day celebration combines world-class bull riding, collegiate rodeo competition, and some of country music’s biggest stars. Set for July 10-12, 2026, at Canvas Stadium on the campus of Colorado State University, this inaugural event promises to deliver an unforgettable summer weekend for rodeo fans, country music lovers, and families alike.

PBR Bulls & Beats marks the official kickoff of the 2026 PBR Teams season, while also introducing the new Collegiate All-Star Rodeo, bringing together some of the nation’s top collegiate rodeo athletes for a one-of-a-kind competition. Add in performances from Brad Paisley, Bailey Zimmerman, and Miranda Lambert, and you’ve got one of the biggest Western lifestyle events of the summer.

A New Era for Western Sports Entertainment

Following the success of PBR’s “Last Cowboy Standing” event at Canvas Stadium in 2025, which attracted more than 25,000 fans over two days, PBR expanded its vision into a full weekend festival experience. Bulls & Beats is designed to bring together the excitement of professional bull riding, the tradition of rodeo, and the energy of live country music under one roof.

According to PBR, the event represents a new model for Western sports, creating an immersive experience that appeals to longtime rodeo fans while introducing new audiences to the sport.

Friday: Collegiate Rodeo Meets Brad Paisley

The weekend kicks off on Friday, July 10, with the inaugural Collegiate All-Star Rodeo, featuring top student-athletes representing leading college rodeo programs from across the country. Competitors will battle in nine rodeo disciplines, including bull riding, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, breakaway roping, and more. With $180,000 in prize money on the line, the competition will be among the richest events in collegiate rodeo history…
