P Diddys Old Party Invite to 13-Year-Old Actress Sparks New Questions After Her Death

Sean “P Diddy” Combs has come under renewed scrutiny following the resurfacing of footage showing him inviting 13-year-old actress Daveigh Chase to an after-party in 2003. The clip, which has drawn fresh attention amid news of Chase’s recent passing, captures Diddy asking the young actress if she will attend the event, moments after she received an award at the MTV Movie Awards.

Diddy, now 56, is currently serving time at a federal prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey, after being convicted in 2025 on two counts related to transportation for prostitution. He was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges in a trial that garnered significant public interest.

The newly circulated video shows Diddy laughing as Chase agrees to join the party. Chase, known for her role in The Ring, died on June 16 from complications related to meningitis and a severe infection that led to septic shock and organ failure.

Prior to her death, Chase had been hospitalized for malnutrition and was found living in dire conditions on Los Angeles’ Skid Row. Disturbing footage posted on social media depicted the actress in a debilitated state, lying on the floor of what appeared to be a tent or trailer.

Efforts to locate and assist Chase had been ongoing for months, led by her longtime manager John Ryan and stepsister Gaia Brown, including hiring a private investigator. Ryan reported that after seeing the footage, he briefly reestablished contact with Chase and was preparing to help her seek treatment, but she disappeared again before assistance could be provided.

In related developments, Diddy’s prison release date has been adjusted again. Federal Bureau of Prisons records now indicate he is scheduled for release on February 23, 2028, moved up from the previously set date of April 15, 2028.
