Gunfire broke the late-night quiet in Cincinnati’s Corryville neighborhood Friday, leaving one person hurt and triggering a fresh police investigation just off the University of Cincinnati campus.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of Carplin Place at the corner of Harvey Avenue, where they began combing the area for evidence, according to FOX19. The victim was taken to a hospital by private vehicle and was reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.
