ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Summer officially begins today, and there is a First Alert for strong to severe storms Monday afternoon.

Father’s Day: Mostly Dry With Spotty Showers

Low clouds and patchy fog will clear out this morning, allowing for a decent day outdoors. Sunday will feature warm and humid conditions with highs in the mid to upper 80s with feels-like temperatures in the 90-95 degree range.

While isolated to scattered showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening — primarily south of the I-20 corridor in central Georgia — North Georgia should remain mostly dry.
