Kansas City’s anti-trafficking coalition hits the ground running as World Cup kicks off

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – As the World Cup fills Kansas City, a nonprofit coalition is working around the clock to protect victims of sex trafficking.

The WARS Council – World Cup Aftercare Resources and Services – is a group of nearly a dozen organizations that formed to address the anticipated rise in trafficking during the tournament.
