KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Kansas City firefighters battled a blaze at the same home twice in four hours, injuring one crew member.
The Kansas City Fire Department says it returned to the area of 85th and Highland Ave. just before 5:10 a.m. on Sunday, June 21.
Crews note that a power line dropped and began arcing, igniting a second fire at the rear of the already-damaged structure.
As of 5:30 a.m., firefighters remain on scene extinguishing the fire and are awaiting Evergy crews to mitigate the downed line…
