Scott Kashman is stepping into one of Jacksonville’s most closely watched health care roles, taking over as chief executive officer of Ascension St. Vincent’s Health System, the Jacksonville-based network that serves Northeast Florida and parts of Southeast Georgia. His appointment is effective July 1, moving him from an interim market leadership post into the permanent systemwide chief job.
The move follows an announcement made June 18 and then picked up in local coverage.
