Man arrested after hit-and-run crash killed two Delaware teens, police say

A New Jersey man has been arrested and charged after police said he left the scene of a crash that killed two teens in Townsend, Delaware.

According to the Delaware State Police, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, around 1 a.m., a 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl, both from Townsend, Delaware, were walking with an electric bike near the left lane of southbound Dupont Parkway, south of Denny Lynn Drive.

At the same time, police said a Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on Dupont Parkway toward the pedestrians…
