Omaha City councilwoman reacts to fatal shooting near 24th and Lake Street

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – City Councilwoman LaVonya Goodwin represents the district where a 28-year-old woman died and a 16-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Saturday morning.

Goodwin said it highlights the importance of curbing after-hours activity that can contribute to these kinds of crimes.
