A Monday ‘soaker’ kicks off the work week across the Buffalo-Niagara and Western New York region, with a steady rain persisting into the afternoon hours, National Weather Service forecasters say.
“We’re certainly not going to feel like it’s summer,” NWS meteorologist Steve Welch tells WBEN of the first full day of summer across the region. “Temperatures today in the mid 60’s,” Welch adds, with rain filling-in area-wide.
