Man guilty of carjacking, shooting Cleveland woman

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A jury found a man guilty of multiple counts for the shooting and carjacking of a Cleveland woman on the city’s West side earlier this year.

The trial for Ronald Loftis began on June 15 in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas.

Loftis was convicted of:

  • Three counts of aggravated robbery
  • Four counts of robbery
  • Three counts of felonious assault
  • One count of unlawful use of a weapon by a career criminal
  • One count of having weapons under disability
  • One count of grand theft
