LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A Lake County resident is asking Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise to take another look at noise levels near the Verde Park community after a widening project moved traffic closer to homes.
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise expanded the toll road from State Road 50 to Hancock Road. The project widened the turnpike to eight lanes in Orange and Lake counties, bringing traffic closer to the back of some homes in Verde Park.
