Authorities said a man was shot after an altercation involving biker gang members outside a restaurant in Grottoes.
According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, at about 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, deputies, along with the Grottoes Police Department, responded to a shooting on Dogwood Avenue.
The sheriff’s office said a verbal dispute began outside a restaurant and quickly escalated into a physical altercation among numerous people. During the altercation, a man involved fired multiple shots at a vehicle, “the occupants of which were also involved to some degree in the fight that was going on in the roadway at that point,” a news release said…
