This past weekend Georgia witnessed four-star wide receiver Amare Patterson commit to North Carolina over them. Patterson is a player that Georgia desperately wanted, so for him commit to UNC of all schools was tough to see.
Georgia thought they were in a great spot with Patterson coming out of his official visit to Athens on May 15, but it turns out that the fear of major issues in the 2027 class when it comes to competing in the NIL era that Georgia fans have had is very real.

Amare Patterson is another shocking recruiting loss for Georgia
