My Migraine Had Perfect Timing
Yesterday afternoon, around 3 p.m., my head started hurting. I’m very used to migraines, but even after multiple rounds of medication, the pain kept getting worse. My last line of defense before I consider going to the emergency room is Phenergan. I only have to use it about once a year, but when I do, it’s a doozy.
I popped the anti-nausea medication, and the next thing I knew, my husband was waking me up to see if I wanted dinner. I ate a couple of bites and went right back to bed.

Once my family felt like enough time had passed, I headed back upstairs and went back to sleep. This morning, my daughter was telling me about conversations we had during the evening that I don’t remember at all.
