Police: man fires shots into car before beating person unconscious in road rage dispute

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Police allege a man in a Grand Rapids road-rage incident fired multiple shots into a car before later beating a man who fell to the ground unconscious.

Nicholas James Hofstra, 38, has been arraigned on charges of attempted murder and three other felonies.
