Man thrown from car in crash on highway interchange in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A driver was thrown from his car and seriously injured in a rollover crash on the highway in Grand Rapids Monday, police say.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on the eastbound ramp from I-196 to I-96 in Grand Rapids. Michigan State Police say the car left the right side of the road and rolled.

The driver, a 22-year-old Sparta man, was thrown from the vehicle. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries…
