Three-alarm fire at downtown Lebanon bar started next door, mayor says

The Lebanon city mayor provided new information and updated numbers of displaced residents after a three-alarm fire at the Downtown Lounge area last week.

On June 16, the Lebanon Fire Department was dispatched to the 700 block of Cumberland Street following reports of flames visible through the roof of a downtown building. Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire conditions emanating from the third-floor rear roof area of the former Downtown Lounge property located at 734 Cumberland Street.
