KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) — More than $1.3 million is heading to six Knox County schools in the form of grant funding from the state.
The state said the money is designed to turn things around for some of Knoxville’s lower-income schools. Knox County Commission is set to re-approve the grant funding Monday night, reaffirming funds the schools were already receiving.
