Seminole County health officials issue Algae Toxin Alerts for 2 lakes

SANFORD, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health is issuing health warnings for two Seminole County lakes. Health officials say water samples from Lake Howell and Lake Jesup tested positive for blue-green algae toxins, which can be harmful to people and animals.
