GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay’s Ray Nitschke Bridge has been closed since June 4 for maintenance activities, and after previously being delayed and extended, city officials now say the closure is being extended again.
Originally only supposed to be closed through Monday, June 22 and then extended to Thursday, June 25, the City of Green Bay announced on Monday that the closure of the bridge will now last through Thursday, July 2.
The temporary closure will block all vehicle traffic on the bridge from now until the new extended date. This includes traffic coming from both Main and Dousman Streets.
