TPD says bystanders jumped in to help 64-year-old woman during attempted robbery

TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department said a group of bystanders jumped in to help a 64-year-old woman during an attempted robbery.

Around 11:26 a.m. on Saturday, the department said officers responded to a QuikTrip near East 21st Street and South 129th East Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery.

At the scene, officers said the 64-year-old victim and several witnesses shared what happened…
