Two women wounded in stabbing at overcapacity Tulsa party

TULSA, Okla. – Two women are recovering after being stabbed during a large fight at a party late Friday night, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance at approximately 11:45 p.m. on June 19, 2026, at the American Legion venue near Newton Street and North Utica Avenue. Upon arrival, police discovered the venue had vastly exceeded its maximum occupancy, with an estimated 400 people gathered inside and around the immediate area.
