CASA GRANDE, AZ (AZFamily) — Electric-vehicle maker Lucid Motors is cutting 18% of its workforce, as detailed in a SEC filing Monday, and that means hundreds of jobs lost in Arizona.
The company issued a notice to the state government that it will eliminate 705 jobs in Arizona. The federal filing said that part of the cuts involves eliminating the second production shift at its Casa Grande factory.
