EAST AURORA, N.Y. – Astronics Corp. in East Aurora, N.Y., has introduced a new dual USB Type-C in-seat power outlet designed to support the increasing power requirements of passenger electronic devices aboard commercial aircraft.
The company’s EmPower 1327-27 outlet provides up to 60 watts of combined power through two USB-C ports, enabling passengers to charge laptops, tablets, smartphones, and other portable electronic devices during flight.
