CHATTANOOGA, Tenn — Monday’s storm left thousands of customers without power across Chattanooga and several road closures across the viewing area.
As of 7:30pm, EPB’s outage map reported 4,295 customers affected with 222 outage incidents in their service area. Earlier in the afternoon, EPB said their teams were prepared with additional crews to respond if needed.
Downed trees and powerlines left several roads closed across Chattanooga and the surrounding area. The Chattanooga Fire Department says they responded to wires down, fires flooding and large trees on homes.
