Map shows which Pittsburgh roads will close to cars on June 28, July 26

This summer, large swathes of roads throughout Pittsburgh will open up for pedestrians — while temporarily blocking drivers.

For two one-day periods in June and July, OpenStreetsPGH, hosted by Bike Pittsburgh, will shut down areas in Pittsburgh that typically see busy traffic to allow cyclists, runners and walkers and other pedestrians to take over the roads. Event participants of all ages and abilities are invited to join in however they like, whether that be by biking along the road, dancing with friends in the streets or exploring free fitness classes at the event’s wellness hubs.

The only caveat: No vehicles are allowed…
