The Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI, Lakewood Ranch, Florida) is rebranding and becoming the Industrial Finishing and Coating Association (IFCA). The change is intended to more clearly communicate the association’s focus on providing education, training and networking to the industrial finishing industry.
“Input from new chapters indicated that it’s been difficult to easily define that CCAI provides education, training and networking to the industrial finishing industry,” says CCAI executive director Anne Goyer. “The board agreed that IFCA better defines who we are and who we serve.”
The transition to IFCA represents more than a name change. It is a strategic step that aligns the association’s identity with the diverse technologies, processes and professionals that make up today’s industrial finishing and coating marketplace.
