‘Our hearts are so full’: Dozens of pets find new homes during mega adoption event in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – More than 80 pets were adopted from the Tallahassee Animal Service Center over the weekend as part of a statewide adoption blitz.

The shelter offered free adoptions Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

A Monday Facebook post revealed 83 pets found new homes: 49 cats, 32 dogs, 1 bunny and 1 guinea pig.

“To everyone who adopted – thank you for opening your heart and home to a shelter pet. You truly changed a life,” the shelter’s Facebook post said…
