CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Recent rainfall across the Coastal Bend has helped lawns recover, but it has also created ideal breeding conditions for mosquitoes.
To help residents protect themselves and their families, the City of Corpus Christi is observing Mosquito Awareness Week with educational drive-thru events and free mosquito prevention kits happening Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Cole Park, located at 2600 Ocean Dr. Take the entrance near Kid’s Place and follow down to the pier entrance.
