BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) – The 911 Study Commission is recommending steps that Brown County leadership can take to improve workplace operations and culture at the Public Safety Communications Center.
The five-member panel reviewed two independent assessments provided by outside entities that investigated allegations of a hostile and toxic work environment, management retaliation and the current organizational climate within Brown County’s 911 Center.
“We take employee concerns seriously, we commissioned independent reviews to better understand those concerns, and we are focused on implementing solutions,” said Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “The purpose of this process was never to assign blame. It was to understand what our employees were experiencing, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure Brown County has a strong and sustainable 911 communications center for years to come.”…
