MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) – The Menasha Common Council approved a new Downtown Building Incentive Program, a matching grant initiative to support downtown property owners and business owners in making building improvements.
The program provides a 1:1 matching grant up to $50,000 for eligible projects. Improvements may include façade renovation, roofing, HVAC upgrades, electrical and plumbing work, insulation, structural repairs and ADA-related enhancements.
“Menasha’s historic downtown is a cornerstone of our community identity,” said Austin Hammond, mayor of Menasha. “This new program represents an important step toward preserving the character of our downtown while fostering reinvestment, supporting small business growth, and enhancing the quality and vitality of our commercial buildings.”
