COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) —Conditions inside the Muscogee County jail have been bad or getting worse. This week, Sheriff Greg Countryman invited WRBL News 3 inside to see it.
“This area goes into the clinic…” Countryman said, “…where our inmate residents are treated.”
The deeper you go into the Muscogee County Jail, the more the problems become obvious. There are leaks, and offices and other spaces that are unusable. The old medical records room is a prime example.
