KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — On Friday and Saturday, the Arcadia Creek Festival Place outdoor venue will be full of food vendors and live music acts during the third annual Kalamazoo Caribbean Fest.
“It’s going to be a good time, it’s going to be a party,” said Jessica Thompson, co-coordinator of the Kalamazoo Caribbean Fest. “We’re really excited about it.”
Holland Farmers Market introduces ‘Market School’ classes for adults
Musical performances begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Live DJs will serenade festivalgoers in between acts. The headliner, a Jamaican reggae band called Third World, will perform Saturday at 10:30 p.m.
While enjoying the live music, guests can explore over 40 pop-up shops offering handmade goods, accessories, art and more.
“We bring in authentic food vendors and local vendors, as well,” Thompson said.
