LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – Voters are set to decide in August whether to renew the Ingham County Trails and Parks millage and officials are inviting the community to come learn more about the millage before taking to the polls.
The Friends of the Lansing Regional Trails will hold an informational meeting on Thursday, July 16 in the Munson Community Room at Playmakers in Okemos.
The county is asking for voters to renew funding at the same millage level previously approved in 2014 and 2020 for the “creation and maintenance of a countywide system of recreational trails and adjacent parks, which may incorporate trails or parks created by local units of government, including Lansing’s River Trail, and may acquire rights of way to connect and extend existing trails.”…
