Medline Industries is charting a path toward recovery following a June 11 fire that destroyed its one-million-square-foot medical supply distribution center in Tracy, CA.
The San Joaquin County Fire Authority reported the facility was fully engulfed, leading to the evacuation of neighboring commercial structures, according to ABC10. No injuries were reported, though officials noted sprinklers were not working properly, and fire hydrants within the facility lacked adequate water pressure. A cause for the blaze has not been determined. According to Medline’s statements, crews responded to the fire around 1 pm on June 11, 2026. By 5 pm, the company reported that all employees and on-site personnel had been safely evacuated and accounted for.
