Two dogs rescued from ice on Maumee River still searching for a home

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Two dogs rescued from thinning ice on the Maumee River in January are still looking for a home several months later.

The dogs were spotted running along the ice before a rescue involving Toledo police officers, Toledo Fire and Rescue Department crews, Jerusalem Township Fire-Rescue and Lucas County Canine Care and Control (LC4).
