A Clark County strike team was recently deployed to assist with wildfire response efforts in Eastern Washington, including work on the Upriver Fire near Spokane.
According to Clark County Fire District 10, the strike team first responded to the OIE Fire west of Benton City before being redeployed to the Upriver Fire because of an immediate threat to homes.
