Walton County and Loganville firefighters respond to two house fires Tuesday

LOGANVILLE, GA (June 23, 2026) – The City of Loganville Fire Department responded to two structure fires on the morning of Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

LFD Chief Tim Johnson reported that the LFD responded at about 9:35 a.m. to a report of a structure fire in the 300 block of Bay Creek Road. Prior to the arrival of fire crews, a male occupant was pulled from the structure through a window by female Loganville Police Officer Crystal Citron.

“Crews arrived on scene to find a single story residential home with flames coming from the front left corner of the structure. Loganville Fire personnel with the assistance of Walton County Fire Rescue personnel were able to quickly extinguish the fire that was contained to the living room,” Johnson said. “There were no injuries reported and the cause is under investigation.”…
