WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — With visiting ships from Sail 250 Virginia now on their way to Baltimore, the region’s attention turns to Colonial Williamsburg, where new CEO Carly Fiorina is preparing for “national attention” this Fourth of July.
PBS will broadcast live from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. this Independence Day from outside the Governor’s Palace, with live musical performances, speeches, historic interpretations, a drone-show and fireworks finale.
Titled “America Made in Virginia: 250 Years Together,” the program will conclude a day filled with programming in the historic area, which include readings of the Declaration of Independence and the Salute to the States featuring the Colonial Fife & Drum…
