Project Harmony assists kids impacted by recent shootings in the Omaha metro

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Last week, two children ages 5 and 1 were helped by Project Harmony after a murder-suicide near Lake Cunningham.

On Monday, the same story. This time, Project Harmony says a 4 year old was assisted after a shooting in Papillion.

“Any event like this can be very traumatic not just for children but for adults as well,” said Project Harmony CEO Gene Klein. “We do know when children are exposed to a violent situation or tragic situation like this it can have short term and long term impacts.”…
