The Stephenson County Farm Bureau building in Freeport is for sale, but the organization is not closing.
The decision to sell the building at 210 W. Spring St. was made by the Board of Directors, who determined it would be best for the bureau to have a smaller office space, according to the Stephenson County Farm Bureau Facebook page.
The building has not yet been sold, and operations will continue as normal until a sale is finalized.
