The Milan Library Board appointed retired CPA Jeff Neuburger to fill a vacancy on the board during its June 23 meeting.
Neuburger was one of two Milan residents who applied for the seat left vacant when former Milan Public Library Board Treasurer Darlene Helzerman resigned after nearly two decades of service. Milan resident Alyssa Litow also applied for the position, telling board members she loves libraries and believes they provide an important space where everyone has access to information.
